Growing up in Australia, Thanksgiving wasn’t something we celebrated. It was something we’d only ever see in American movies. But over the years, it’s slowly made its way into our homes here too. And honestly, I will take any excuse to gather with family and friends and cook up a feast! When I host Thanksgiving now, I love to take that classic American-style spread and give it my own twist. There’s still all the comfort food you could ever want but with my Mediterranean twist.

My mac and cheese always steals the show. It’s rich, golden, and ridiculously creamy, and if you’ve ever tried my lobster mac and cheese, you’ll know it’s the ultimate indulgence. It’s what everyone asks for seconds (and thirds) of. Then there are my potato sides because honestly, no feast is complete without them.

Thanksgiving might not be a tradition I grew up with, but it’s one I’ve come to love. For me, it’s not about the history, it’s about connection, gratitude, and food that brings everyone together.
